This German Apple Cake is a moist dense cake that keeps well. It has been a family favorite for twenty years.
A caramel cream cheese dip for apples or whatever!
Sweet potatoes add their autumn flavor and color to a savory braided sausage roll with grapes, blue cheese, and rosemary. It’s a pretty and festive brunch dish or light meal.
Field greens and arugula are transformed into a sophisticated main course salad by adding chicken apple sausage, Granny Smith apple slices, toasted pecans, and crumbled Blue cheese with a zesty lemon-Dijon mustard dressing. Serve with laffa or pita bread.
Pretty and delicious, too! The combination of the purple cabbage (a little sweeter than the green) and the apples is awesome. The dressing is my Grandma’s recipe. You will be sure to impress your guests!
This is a wonderfully simple, yet delicious cake! It is so moist and fresh, it will surely be a favorite with your family, just like it is with mine! The main length of the preparation time is cutting and peeling the apples. A mixture of apples works great, although I usually use Golden Delicious.
